THE SOLUTION
HFSS™
Guo Jun Chen, of Hughes Network Systems, used HFSS to design and optimize every component and then integration of an ISIS Transmit/Receiver Isolation Assembly (TRIA) for low-cost, high-performance DIRECWAY products.
"Without HFSS, we could not have designed and delivered this product in such a short time," said Chen. "The measurement results of a prototype and then a production unit match the HFSS simulation results well. The power of HFSS covers draft-angles design for low-cost manufacturing purposes and tolerance analysis for yield estimation for ISIS TRIA. ISIS TRIA is a typical successful product that has been deployed in more than 350,000 DIRECWAY units so far."
