Power Delivery

Read MoreWith the proliferation of different PCB power-supply voltages, power delivery is increasingly becoming an issue. Dr. Howard Johnson, of Signal Consulting, has collaborated with Xilinx and Ansoft to deliver a presentation on power-system performance. Using examples from a Xilinx Virtex-4® ML-405 application board, Dr. Johnson examines three topics: the structure and purpose of a PCB power system, power-system measurement technique, and an analysis of the results.
