Highlights of Simplorer v7 Service Pack 5 include the following:

• Upgraded analog simulator that allows the simulation of larger systems
• Controlled sources (EU, EI, IU, II) and expression-controlled R, L, C can now be controlled by VM.V, AM.I, R.V, L.I, C.V and VHDL-AMS quantities
• Scheduling and unscheduling of time-triggering events can be used to specify synchronization points and force the simulator to do a calculation
• The Newton-Raphson convergence criteria now consider the relative tolerance values for the RHS values
• DC-sweep for VHDL-AMS models
• New IGBT parameter-extraction capability
• The compliance of the VHDL-AMS compiler/simulator with the IEEE 1076.1 LRM definition has been extended
