Mr. Feng Chang Gen, Vice President for the Beijing Institute of Technology, announced the opening of the new training center. "Beginning in January 2001, our students will be using Ansoft's leading simulation software to design high frequency amplifiers, filters, mixers and antenna systems. Professor Hao Yue, Vice President of Xidian University and Professor Chu Qing Xin, Director of the Advanced Training Center of Xidian University presided at the opening ceremonies of the center. "The training center will provide practical skills for graduate and undergraduate students to design better microwave products," said Dr. Chu.
