Dynamic Coupling

Dynamic Coupling is a new option in Simplorer v8. It enhances the imported Simplorer model that comes from Maxwell, RMxprt, or Q3D Extractor, by extending its range of operation dynamically. For example, if the model requires operation in an area that it was not originally characterized for, it will dynamically run Maxwell, RMxprt, or Q3D Extractor to create a new version of the model (with the new desired area of operation) and bring it into Simplorer. The following types of models can be used with this capability

Maxwell

  • Dynamic Inductance
  • Dynamic Capacitance
  • Equivalent Circuit
  • Convolution IFFT
  • State Space

RMxprt

  • Equivalent Circuit

Q3D Extractor

  • Equivalent Circuit
  • Convolution IFFT
  • State Space
